I am Angelo Galante's nephew. I also had an uncle(through marriage)named Frank Deluca both of the OSS 2677. I was wondering if anyone had any information they could share about these two men.
My uncle Angelo retired from the Green Berets a Lt. Colonel and was also a New York city Police Captain. Unfortunately, he has passed away I would love to hear from anyone who served with him or Frank Deluca.

Your Uncle Angelo Galante is my Mother's cousin. The Galante family remained very close after arriving from Sicily. They settled initially in Buffalo, then Pittston and finally some to NYC as was the case with my Mother & your Uncle.

I was told recently Angelo spent some time in Montedoro, Sicily, after deployment of his O.G.in 1943. Montedoro was our family's hometown. I visited there 2 years ago & met some relatives.

Email me if you believe we are related. My Grandfather was Gaetano (Tano) Galante. He had brother's Charlie, Joe & Sam.
Angelo,his brother Sam & his son Charlie were always close to our family.

Hi Vincent. My father Joe Marino served in the OSS with your uncle and also frank deluca.In one of his army photos it said fritz DeLuca

Your father served with my cousin Angelo Galante in the OSS SIMCOL mission assisting POWs return to US positions. You will be interested to know your Dad was interviewed on You Tube video I recently viewed.
