He was first buried in a fieldgrave behind the invasion beach and reburied in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in plot-grave A-11-131, date of burial was 27 July 1943. After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the Rosehill Cemetery in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. </span></em></p></blockquote><p></p>
